In this tutorial, let's look at how to select pixel LED type in K-1000C Controller. Includes a list of pixel LED strip or string type codes.
Pixel LED strings or strips are named after the pixel LED drive chip names that are used in that strip or string. Some pixel LED controllers require you to manually select the Pixel LED type. Since there is limited space in the display, pixel LED drive chips are represented by two-digit numbers. Here are the chip codes and the corresponding pixel LED drive IC numbers. Usually, the first two digits in your pixel LED controller display the selected drive chip code.

How to Select the Chip
Use the “CHIP” button to navigate through different pixel LED drive chip codes. Until the code you are looking for appears on the display, stop pressing the “CHIP” button. Once the chip is selected, there is no need to reselect the chip unless you are changing the type of the pixel LED strip or string.

These are the most common pixel LED strip or string codes. However, these codes may differ from manufacturer to manufacturer. Usually, these codes are listed on the backside of the controller. These codes only work if your controller supports the particular pixel LED drive chip. So, reading the user manual of the controller is very important before selecting the pixel LED strip or string for your controller.
