The WS2811 Pixel LED is a simple RGB LED strip. It implies that with the contribution of an information signal, you can screen every single LED color. You can get these information signals from various things, like the digital pin on the Arduino board, an appropriate RGB LED controller, and more.
Different from solid-color string lights that only display the same color at the same time, it contains a WS2811 IC in each LED chip. You can control each LED individually to realize unlimited color, brightness, and speed combinations on one string light simultaneously and make colors flow or chase like a rainbow, which is more beautiful and vivid than dull RGB solid-color lights. The WS2811 Pixel LED has three output channels and is designed specifically for LED driver circuits. Its internal components include an intelligent digital port data latch and a signal-reshaping amplification drive circuit. Also included are a precision internal oscillator and a 12 V programmable constant-current output drive. To reduce power supply ripple, the 3 output channels are designed to delay the turn-on function.
Strips can be cut with scissors at every single LED; this means you can cut each 5-meter strip into 50 independent pixels or to the exact length required by your project. Only three wires run through each strip: power, ground, and data.
It contains a JST connector at the last pixel to further cascade the string, and we recommend not more than 3 bunches of 150 LEDs in a string to achieve optimal performance.

With many controllers, it can be programmed with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, T1000S, and K-1000C controllers and controlled by ALT-C01, SP105E Bluetooth controllers, SP107E SP601E SP602E P608E SP611E SP110E Bluetooth music controllers, SP108E WiFi controllers, SP103E mini-RF controllers, and any other WS2811 SPI controller.
- To make it work, you need to buy an extra 5V power supply and a WS2811 controller, which are not included in the package list.
